Leisure Centres

The leisure centres managed by Flintshire County Council provide a wide range of excellent facilities covering a host of activities.

Deeside Leisure Centre (Chester Road West, Queensferry, Deeside, CH5 1SA, tel ) is the National Centre for Ice Sports in Wales.  It boasts an Olympic size ice pad and caters for a variety of ice sports and activities including ice hockey, curling and disco nights.  Alongisde the ice rink, other facilities include a bridges fitness suite, 3G football pitches, 8-court sports hall and squash courts. Flint Pavilion Leisure Centre (Earl Street, Flint, CH6 5ER, tel ) is a multi-purpose facility which caters for a host of sport and recreation activities.  Facilities include a bridges fitness suite, a 25 metre swimming pool and children's learner pool and cafe.  It also manages evening use of the leisure facilities available at Flint High School.

Holywell Leisure Centre (Fron Park Road, Holywell, CH8 7UZ, tel ) is a multi-purpose facility which caters for a host of sport and recreation activities.  Facilities include a bridges fitness suite, a 25 metre swimming pool and children's learner pools, health suite, 4-court sports hall, snooker room and squash courts.  It also manages evening use of the artificial turf pitch at Holywell High School.


Mold Leisure Centre (Wrexham Road, Mold, CH7 1HT, tel ) is a multi-purpose facility which caters for a host of sport and recreation activities.  Situated on the Alun High School and Ysgol Maes Garmon campus on Wrexham Road, the Centre's facilities include a bridges fitness suite, a 25 metre swimming pool, large artificial turf pitch, gymnasium, 4-court sports hall and glass-backed squash courts. It also manages community use of the tennis courts at Maes Bodlonfa in Mold and evening use of the artificial turf pitch at Sychdyn Primary School.

Buckley Leisure Centre (Mill Lane, Buckley, CH7 3HQ, tel ) is a multi-purpose facility which caters for a host of sport and recreation activities.  Situated on the Elfed High School campus, the Centre's facilities include a 25 metre swimming pool, large artificial turf pitch, gymnasiums, 4-court sports hall, weight training room and squash courts.

Connah's Quay Swimming Pool (Wepre Drive, Connah's Quay, CH5 4HA, tel ) offers a 25 metre pool and meeting room (with PowerPoint).

Connah's Quay Sports Centre (Golftyn Lane, Connah's Quay, CH5 4BH, tel ) is a community facility which caters for a host of sport and recreation activities.  Situated on the Connah's Quay High School campus, the Centre's facilities include a large artificial turf pitch, 4-court sports hall, bouldering room and squash court.
