Halkyn mountain itself is an area of special scientific interest and is a peaceful location to explore, yet near enough to the main A55 route to take you to other beautiful North Wales attractions.

Offa’s Dyke pathway and the renowned Loggerheads Country Park are close by. St Winifride’s Well at Holywell is a popular local tourist attraction.

The busy market town of Mold is nearby with picturesque buildings, a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and a nationally renowned theatre.
